It could be the actuator that diverts the air through the heater core. Our enthusiasts forum may be able to help you more at www.trailvoy.com
I have a 1999 blazer. The heater core clogs up about once a year from the Dexcool. Try having it (heater core) flushed and use Prestone (Extended life) instead of Texaco.
thermostat is stuck open.
you must have low coolant or a bad heater core
You have a bad fan clutch..............
That is normal, It is a thermostat
I would recommend 500 minimum.
Engine coolant sensor may be bad
My 2001 Chevy Blazer was blowing cold air when I had the heat on. My husband flushed the line to the heater core and a bunch of junk came out and now my heat works great. If it still blows cold when it is at running temp, check the engine thermostat, its probably stuck in the open position.
If the air conditioning pump in the 1993 Chevy Z24 blows perfectly, but won't get cold, it is possible that the Freon needs to be recharged in the air conditioning unit. This can usually be done for about $40 by the consumer.
I own a 1999 Blazer with a 4.3L vortec engine. I had this problem and solved it by topping up the coolant level. I found if the coolant level got even a little bit low the heater would only blow out lukewarm or cold air. I know this sounds simple but it worked for me. DL Vancouver Island British Coulmbia
checked antifreeze level???
