I've got some "very bad news" for you..The whole top will have to be replaced,according to the dealership. Check w/your insurance company to see if they will cover this. Also,check your local community colleges where students will do this type of auto upholstery work alot less (dealer quote; $1,200 on up). Unfortunately,VW sales people neglected to tell us that when we bought our convertibles.
