Answer 1: I hope you mean the University of Michigan (in Ann Arbor). But anyways I got in with a G.P.A. of 3.80 and an ACT score of 31 so I think you should be able to too. But they won't look at AP scores at all because they're for granting credit once you're enrolled in the school. Good luck! Answer 2: Having good grades and good test scores doesn't guarantee you admission to any good university. However, it might motivate them to review your application more carefully. You'll also need to show that you, as a whole person, would be an asset to the school and enhance their mix of students. For example, if you play the tuba and they need a tuba player, you might get in with lower scores than other applicants. That is, you are lucky. Usually you need to show you have passion for something and did a lot of work pursuing that passion. Lastly, it helps if they feel that, if accepted, you would attend that school.
