You seem to have a really good set up. If you are breeding Discus and rearing them what is your problem/question?
My question is I have 2 black ghosts knife fishes living in this tank and I think one is pregnant and I have no idea how to care for or breed them./ Everyone keeps answering me like I am a moron and don't know about fish and I can find very little literature. I was unaware this was so rare. Keeping black ghost knife fish has always been an easy fish for me . I just don't know about breediong.. I have yet to get a strait answer. I keeping being told i shouldn't bother it is a dificult fish ( untrue by the way) or that it is impossible ( they seem to think zI have ponly 1. etc etc. I would really appreciate a strait answer
Thanks
Black Ghost Knife fish (Apteronotus albifrons) come from the same and similar places to the Discus (which I bred commercially) and therefore they will obviously need similar conditions and water parameters. (That is the reason they are regarded as 'hard to keep' they need 'Discus conditions') You can't get a 'straight answer' about breeding the 'B G Knife fish' because there is no evidence that anyone has ever managed to do so. You can rest assured however that they can not get pregnant because they are definitely egg layers rather than livebearers. They also grow to over 20 inches long so they will probably need your large tank just for themselves to breed in. HTH.
The choice is up to you. If you set up the aquarium as a vivarium for lizards why should it not be used to keep a lizard in.
a frog likes cucumber
It is the name of a kind of clownfish. A very common aquarium choice.
Its all your choice, my friend. However, the bigger the aquarium, the better the ecosystem- so I'd go with the 40 gallon. I have a 40 gallon fishtank myself.
If you mean how many gallons for... displacement... .95 gallons. If you mean the fuel tank, either 22 or 35 gallons, depending on the year / choice
Nobody knows unless they work at the Aquarium. so you have no choice but to go to the Monterey Bay Aqurarium and get a job there, because it is illegal to tell anyone. Bye now
25 miles per gallon (first choice) is better than 23 miles per gallon (second choice).
Whatever you like. By suitable choice of the height, any combination of width and length is possible.
The two party system offer a choice between Change and Established Ways
The choice of the base of a parallelogram does change the area because the base is always the bottom line of parallelogram.
Freshwater aquatic snails would be the best choice for a tank that small.
becuse its there choice
