sae 10w30 is good for 85 Degrees Far. to O Degrees Far. . But sae10w40 is good from O Degree and up - but any oil is better than no oil. Being that the clutch is a wet clutch it runs with the motor oil - Do not add any friction additives to the oil - it will cause slippage - also do not add any oil with graphite - they do sell special oil for motorcycles but you might have to go to a Dealer to get it.

Nothing at all except the name on the bottle and the high price you pay for the so-called motorcycle oil. I do recommend you use synthetic in any air cooled engine.
