With all due respect I think that you mean 3 Apostles who walked with Jesus. A Disciple is someone who believes and helps to spread the doctrine of another. While an Apostle according to the New Testament is one of the original 12 disciples chosen by Christ to preach his gospel. These twelve were given the specifc calling to do so and no doubt held the Priesthood while a disciple may not.
As the First Presidency of the new church Peter, James and Jonn would be the names I would suggest.
Jesus had twelve disciples according to the Gospels.
Peter (Matthew 14:28-31)
Judas Iscariot was the disciple who betrayed Jesus.
Two people walked with Jesus to Emmaeus. One of them was Cleopas. The other is unnamed, but could have been either his wife Mary or the disciple Peter.
Every true follower of Jesus is a disciple
The disciple listened closely as their mentor shared valuable teachings and guidance.
Jesus period of ministry is generally accepted a 3 years.
