first..make sure what you're asking makes since.
If you are 7 weeks from your last period, you are seven weeks pregnant, 3 weeks pregnant is before you miss a period and you would not have a scan then. If you are seven weeks and there is no sign of a fetal pole it appears that the embryo may not have developed and you will miscarry soon, I am sorry.
There are two answers to this - one good and one bad. The most probable answer is that you miscalculated and you are actually 5 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately there is a possibility that you did fall pregnant 9 weeks ago and that the pregnancy will not progress. It is possible that either the fetus is not developing, or that the fetus has died which usually means the gestational sac will shrink and appear to be not as advanced as you are.
iam 5 weeks pregnant sac is not seen but bleeding
Yes. The ultrasound at five weeks will show the yolk sac. The fetus may or may not be visible yet as a small tube shape. By seven to eight weeks, the scan will show a little triangular shape embryo with the body cavities visible, and a beating heart.
That would be completely normal and typical.
No, by this stage the fetus should be clearly visible. The yolk sac is visible from 5 weeks.
i miscarried in Aug 2010 i was 9 1/2 weeks and it was a mini fully formed baby in a clear bag . i found out i was pregnant in Jan 2010 and i am ment to be 9 weeks now and i had a early scan and they think I'm miscarrying again the yolk sac is about 5 weeks they said when i miscarry this it will look like a sac .
Brown discharge usually indicates "old" blood. If you are having a miscarriage the blood will be bright red and flowing. At four weeks pregnant an ultrasound will not show a heartbeat. So at that stage you would be unable to judge the viability of the pregnancy. The brown discharge is probably the baby attaching itself to the the uterine wall - some small bleeding can occur then.
That it's probably too early. I would recommend a followup ultrasound at 7 weeks.
nothing every child grows at a different rate at a different time no worries with in a week is not a big deal
No you couldn't to see a yolk sac you would need to be approx 5-6 weeks pregnant which is 3-4 weeks after conception.
My first pregnancy was like this all I had was the sac.. no yolk sac or fetus and I miscarried at 7 weeks. The only way to be sure is if there is a heart beat. I am 9 weeks now and have fetus yolk sac and a heart beat. Ask to hear for a heart beat to be sure.
