There is a sensor in each door. You will have to find out which door sensor is defective. Check with your local dealer for the part, and he will be able to help you.
There is a tiny electric box under the accelerator. It needs to be replaced.
I have no idea please help I can't get to the locked door
If your map lights come on when the door is opened then the problem lies with only the dome light. check the bulb and test the wires for voltage and ground. there may just be a short in the ground. that's the most common problem with interior lighting. In my opinion. hope this can help.
If you dash lights are not working check that your parking/brake lights are working also check fuses for cig lighter and interior lights that may help get the dash light working again.
In the fuse box. Need to know what year S10 you have to help you further. On my 93 S10 the interior lights are (ready 4 this? :) on the fuse marked "HORN". No wonder they went bankrupt!
either the light is switched off at the light unit or the earth where the switch locates at the door is poor
You have to remove the interior door panel. This video might help; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XudcrrOFPbM&playnext=1&list=PL7BADA73B2B55AF71&feature=results_video
The switch for your lights is probably going bad or is dirty, you may also have a loose wire or connector. Find some way to spray WD40 inside the dash dimmer switch may help a lot.
This is a pH indicator.
