first check to make sure the fuse is not blown. If its not then there is a fan relay that will need to be replace and it cost around 15 dollars.

Help with Laptop Troubles?
Here is the problem: When building on Roblox, the battery only last like 15 minutes, thus I keep it plugged in while playing. Its a Dell laptop with Windows Vista. It overheated worse than normal about an hour ago, turning white before shutting down, and taking about five tries to get it running again. I've had this laptop for only about a year. When I got it, it would overheat regularly. Then I got a cooling pad and it stopped doing it. Then the cooling pad broke about 3 months later, and I haven't been able to get a new one. Since the cooling pad broke, its not only overheated a lot, but it also crashed, due to a worn out hard drive. I replaced the hard drive, saving some documents. But it still overheats, and its making me mad. When it overheated today, it only lasted 10 minutes of me building. Is there a solution?
