This is a guess maybe its the cruise control relay, good luck.
A clicking noise in the engine of a 91 Ranger could indicate a problem with the valves. A valve lifter in the engine may be worn or stuck.
If clicking while trying to start then might be a bad starter. If clicking while running, then might be valve/lifter noise.
Probably not, many cars have a switch on the clutch that allows you to start it while in gear.
Where is the clicking coming from? Within the engine compartment or inside the car?
The ISP Idle Speed Control controls the speed of the engine and may need to be replaced. It is located top front of the engine next to air intake and has a stop screw sticking out that sets the idle electronically. The clicking is normal and is probably coming from the ISP . My 95 Deville has clicked since it was new.
Gives a pilot control of the amount of fuel the carburetor or fuel injectors deliver to the air intake for a piston engine. The fuel and air, now a "mixture", are combusted in the cylinders. As altitude changes, air pressure changes. The pilot can optimize the fuel at different altitudes for the best engine power or for the least amount of fuel burn.
Detonation...Needs to be fixed immediately or will eventually destroy engine.
Low Battery
Possibly the lifters?!?
The Battery is shot and you need to replace it.
Governor was firstly used in steam engine developed by James watt for control flow of steam inlet to engine when load changes on engine. Nowadays governor is an obsolete device. in automobile an ECU(electronic control unit) are used.which control the fuel inlet in engine cylinder and control the speed. it consists of sensors which help it to provide signal about requirements of fuel in engine. so controlled fuel is supplied according to requirement. when load increases fuel supply increase and vice verca.
its your engine control module>>>JAC
