Can't answer that but have the same model and need to know how to change the time??
The fuel door is not on a stand alone fuse The fuel door switch is deactivated if the button in the glove box was depressed for valet service (which also locks out the access to the trunk via the dash button). That's an easy (and free) fix.
the evaporator is located in the hvac box that sits behind the dash, it also holds the heater core, the blend air door, and the mode door....the dash has to be pulled out to get to the box.....not an easy job...
The heater blender door was controlled by a stiff-wire cable from the dash panel to the door itself. Relatively easy to deal with - cramped as heck, but reachable. Take the dash trim panel off from around the heater controls and I think it was just a couple of mounting screws to release it from the dash. There you'll be able to see how the cable connects to the control slide/knob and goes back to the side of the heater housing under the dash.
unscrew the glove compartment - 2 bolts under the door - at the top left of the heater box there is a black plate with a cable. unplug the cable lossen the two screws and there is your resistor - easy unscrew the glove compartment - 2 bolts under the door - at the top left of the heater box there is a black plate with a cable. unplug the cable lossen the two screws and there is your resistor - easy
Well i recently just replaced my 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais S 2 door Heater Core. Man is it a Job! You have to dismantle the center console including the parking brake and radio to get to the heater core. once you pull all the plastic/fake leather away its pretty easy. how easy is it to replace heater 1994 espace?
your problem could be a broken blend door, if so, there is an easy fix kit called the "Heater Treater" that is available on eBay and at heatertreater.net. This fix is all-inclusive, easy to install, and only takes about 45 minutes. It cover Ford Rangers and Explorers from 96'-04' If the heater core is leaking, replace it. If it is clogged, you can try flushing the entire cooling system including the heater core. Flush the system with the heat set to hot.
The blend door sits vertically in the heater box behind the glove box. If you fully open the glove box, you can see the actuator motor on top of the heater box in the upper left hand corner. On the bottom of the box is a "pedestal" that is the bottom axle point for the blend door. The door axis is between the motor axle and the pedestal. If you are having issues with a Ford Ranger blend door, you can find diagnostic procedures with pictures and a cheap easy solution to the problem at HeaterTreater www.heatertreater.net, or follow the Google ads on this site. cgallen
Heater hoses on a 1993 Lincoln Continental are located on the heater core behind the dashboard. There is no real easy fix. It includes quite a bit of labor.
under the intake plenum for the fuel injection. Not an easy job to do for the back yard mechanic.
The HeaterTreater is an after market kit that solves heater and AC blend door malfunctions for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Laredo. It is much cheaper than the dealership fix and is easy to install. For diagnosis and info, check out www.heatertreater.net or search eBay for "heatertreater".
you will find it in the heater box, also where the blower is. it is easy to remove.
