i have a 1968 ford f250 high boy its stock tire size is 235/85/16 but it will clear 35 inch tires or some 285/75/16
Stock is 235/85/16 (Roughly 31.7/9.3/16 in standard size)
You need an alignment to ajust your camber most vehicles wear the inside of the tire on the front and middle of the tire on the rear. Rotating your tire after a proper alignment every 9000 to 12000 mile will inprove your tire life. Four wheel alignment should cost $65 to $100 front wheel 50 to 85.
Factory equipped tire size will be indicated on driver's door jamb sticker. My '85 d100's sticker says the size is 205/75/15. 235/75r15 will work with almost no difference on speedo gauge
Its a bottom mount alternator, you remove the left front tire and come from underneath. Pry Bares may be needed. i jacked mine up,never had to remove tire
