I would suspect that if it is getting fuel and not starting it would be that it is not getting any spark. If you find that it is not getting spark you could check:
Ignition module
Crank position sensor
Engine control module
Associated wiring and connectors
I am having the same problem with my car. It cranks like it want to start but dont start. i have changed the fuel pressure regulator and still doing the same thing. fuel pump and fuses are good. I have a little bit of spart. I had some wires that was burned out i replace them and still having the same problem. please help
You didn't find the problem yet.
what all have you replaced? let me know so i can help you out.
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
replace module, rotor button and dist. cap
First thing to do is check the fuel level in the tank and check all the fuses. Add fuel or replace fuses as needed. If it still doesn't start, remove the fuel filter and turn the key on. Fuel should flow from the line. If it doesn't, check for power to pump and if that's fine, replace the pump. If fuel flows, check for fire at the spark plugs. A small checker is avaible at any parts house and it is inexpensive. If you have fire, check the timing belt. If you have no fire at the plugs, you will need to consult a troubleshooting manual for more in-debt information.
if it still cranks then it might be that your timing belt broke and needs to be replaced, that just happened to me on my 94'
no.... check the fuel injectors, and the distributor set (or coil packs)
Check the ignition control module.
if a 6.0 diesel might be a high pressure oil leak. Need more info year, engine size etc.
Check your fuses could be an electronic issue.
The fuse is in the fusebox but unless it's labled I couldn't tell you which one it is, just start checking all the fuses to make sure there all good unless you still have your owners manual and it will tell you in there.
