925 is sterling silver. There are some designers (even Tiffany & Co) setting real diamonds in sterling, which can make diamond jewelry more affordable. If you aren't sure if your diamonds are real, you can take it to a jeweler to be tested.
You can take your jewelery to a local jeweler, who can tell you if the diamonds are real or not.
Have diamonds checked by a jeweler. It takes an expert to be sure
925 means that it is sterling silver and cz means cubic zirconia (which means its they are not real diamonds).
Diamonds are not stamped: perhaps the metal setting is stamped. Take your jewelery to a local jewelery shop and ask that the diamond be tested.
Some diamonds do get set in 925 silver, but they are usually just diamond chips. Diamonds are commonly set in platinum, white gold and gold.
CI 925 Ring with lots of Diamonds
The markings you describe are probably in the metal holding the stones. Take your diamonds to a local jeweler and ask for a determination as to the value of the stones.
its most likely they are cubic zirkonia, because jewelers only use diamond in gold and platinum because silver is a cheap metal
yes
The 925 is an indication of sterling silver, not gold.
Would a genuine diamond be set in a ring stamped 925 m
I bought a cheap cz ring from walmart (20 dollars) that has 925 dl in oval and cz 925 is the marking for real silver, it will say sterling or 925 if it is real silver the DLCZ means Diamond Like Carbon, So you have a piece of jewelery that is real silver but fake diamonds...:) The CZ stands for Cubic Zirconia which is basically a man made fake diamond.
