it's most likely the power transistor unit. But make sure to check the wires that have to do with your ignition. The power transistor is located directly underneath the passenger side intake duct. right where it goes into the manifold. it's a little box that has alumminum cooling fins (if stock) with a wire going into either end. Start by taking that off and unplugging and check the plugs and contacts for any corrosion. There was actually a recall on the transistor unit. If you have the stock one then it's BAD! Dont even bother testing it.... It's BAD! Replace it!! Good luck with everything and hopefully this helped!!
bottom of engine, passenger side. where the engine meets the transmission.

the firing order for ford escorts is 1 - 3 - 4 - 2.
yes they are both vg30s the same block. The difference is the turbos.
How do yuo set firing order 92 mercedes 500 sl
1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise on the distributor cap.Drivers side head front to rear are cylinders 1-3-5-7The other head is 2-4-6-8 cylinders.
depends on how much you are willing to spend, i would definilty consider swapping the older motor for a newer 89-92 300zx motor that already has twin turbos and are easy to work on. it you want to stay with the stock motor, you will have to first off get a custom turbo manifold, piping and intercooler.
