Check ignition relay. Jump the battery directly to the starter and see if the starter is any good.
It has a dead cell. I know it is only 2 years old but it happens especially if that battery was run completely down which shortens the life. I suggest you purchase a different brand as this brand was not very dependable. My answer is assuming nothing is on pulling power from the battery when the car is just sitting. Have the battery checked to make sure it is actually defective. Any auto parts store will check it for you. It has to be fully charged in order for it to be checked.
The battery is bad or the alternator is not putting out the correct voltage and is bad.
Bad starter solenoid? Loose or corroded battery terminals? Weak battery? Bad neutral switch?
Bad alternator? May have short, will still charge, but drains the battery when sitting. Just as a test, take one of the battery cables off at night and see if the battery stays charged. Might be bad battery even though new. Hood light that's not shuting off? Brake switch not shutting off? Have you checked the altermator to make sure it's charging 14 amps. May be weak and only charging enough to keep the truck running with nothing left to charge the battery. Out of ideas
What brand is the car?
If you replaced the battery with a brand new one, then no. The battery comes from the store with a fuul charge. If it didn't come charged up, then you have bought a defective battery.
check to see if the alternator is working properly or maybe an alternator wire came loose with the new battery installation.
This happened to me yesterday, I had the alternator checked and it was fine, and the I got a brand new battery and it kept doing it, it ended up being wiring issues so get your wires checked most importantly the ground wire.
I had a situation where the security module(under the passenger seat) was drawing from the battery when the car was sitting. I removed it and the draw on the battery stopped, had to buy a new battery because the draw depleted the battery so bad over the winter that the cells died.
if alt and battery good. then there is a dead short in the switch .by the way have alt output checked i have had brand new alt's. that were duds and did not work right. bad ground on battery or switch
I prefer to use Duracell batteries . . . they keep going, and going, and going . . . = = Answer = = Any good national brand battery with at least 850 CCA (cold cranking amps) Then have your charging system checked.
Any brand as long as it is the correct size battery.
