I had a situation where the security module(under the passenger seat) was drawing from the battery when the car was sitting. I removed it and the draw on the battery stopped, had to buy a new battery because the draw depleted the battery so bad over the winter that the cells died.
The battery is bad or the alternator is not putting out the correct voltage and is bad.
check the starter
What brand is the car?
If you replaced the battery with a brand new one, then no. The battery comes from the store with a fuul charge. If it didn't come charged up, then you have bought a defective battery.
Sometimes, brand new batteries need to be charged for a while before they have the power to engage the solenoid/starter properly. The battery may have enough jucie to light up the headlights and run the stereo, but not to crank the engine.
check to see if the alternator is working properly or maybe an alternator wire came loose with the new battery installation.
4 - Nissan, Ford, Nissan and Ford.
Check ignition relay. Jump the battery directly to the starter and see if the starter is any good.
Make sure the wires actually lead to the batt and be sure its got a good ground
Any brand as long as it is the correct size battery.
Nissan is a very dependable car brand. Repairs are cheaper because the cost of parts are much cheaper than american and european brand cars. Nissan is a japanese car manufacturing company.
The red wire goes to the positive battery post and the black wires connect to the negative post. If it will not turn over then possibly the starter is defective.
