Sounds like the motor or gears have a problem. You can try to find the wiring and power the motor up in reverse manually. I had a problem with a seat in a Volvo and it allowed me to maually turn the gears to move the seat back itno a position where it was comfortable for the customer to drive. I then disconected the power to the seat motors so they couldn't move it by accident. I had to get inside the seat to do this.
I'm not quite sure how the headlight sockets are grounded in our cars, but it kind of sounds like you may have a resistive connection on the passenger side. I think I'd try to find how that side is grounded, then clean up and tighten that connection. FriPilot

2001 grand voyager passenger drivers side door, pops but nothing else. I have had both doors apart and swapped everything other to check it works and it does. I have had the wiring loom out and checked for broken wires and nothing, You will need a scan tool that is capable of communication with the sliding door computer. You need to know what fault code is setting when the door stops moving.
Yes it can be swapped. I actually swapped my razr's sim card to my iphone. Nothing happened. It works perfectly.

The starter is on the driver's side of the engine, lower down on the side of the engine block, just in front of the transmission. On the V8 it's on the passenger side - I just swapped mine out - I would know.
that is not a thing
they swapped eyes
The simple past tense is just a verb in the past tense form. Usually this entails the verb ending in -ed. So the simple past of swap is swapped, as in, "after realizing they both weren't satisfied, the winners swapped prizes."
