You need to go to an Auto Parts Store and have them look it up. It's usually a special wrench used only for the brakes. Hope this helps.

They could simply, just be really hard to move it sounds like you have everything off to me, I've changed my own everytime. Try a little WD-40 to loosen it up. golf 1999, my rear calipers needed to be turnt in not pushed in if that makes sense. you need to twist them in with some big grips. not sure what way. they were tight. needed to loosten fluid cap too to help.

HI I just replaced the rear calipers on my 99 wj which is the same as the 2002 model. Jack up the rear wheel, put in a 3 ton jack stand. 1 Loosen up the caliper brake hose fitting with a 14 mm scoket 2 Get a 45T torque star wench bit and insert in from the rear caliper pins and loosen 3 remove the calipers pins 4 loosen the caliper brake line hoise and remove , replace the copper gaskets - should come with reman calipers 5 hadn tighten the brake hose line 6 put in new pads if needed / new brake braket if needed 7 grease and hand tighten the caliper pins 8 using torque wrench tighten the caipler pins to 25 ft lbs / brake line hose bolt to 23 ft lbs. 9 replace wheel test drive.
