could be a bad coil or bad plug wire. this would make the engine run bad because of a mis-arranged firing order. one or more pistons wouldn't move .
All plugs and wires are fine. Still feel it is a fuel problem linked to the bad fuel that was accidentally added to tank. Runs rough with lost power when under load but purrs along pretty good when load is off, like going downhill even slightly. Fuel consumption has doubled. Can sometimes find a "sweet spot" when accelerating and again it purrs along, otherwise it diesels and accelerates very slowly.
You probably have a bad Electronic Control Module. They are notorious for going bad.
