If a 94 Thunderbird starter will not turn over, the battery may be dead. The battery should be charged with jumper cables.
go check in iraq, you commie. comprendo?
Should be on the driverside right under the front windshield after lifting the hood
hi you need to cheak the starter tab on the starter and try just tab on the startar a littel not to hard
First place to start obviously battery-check voltage. Even if you have "some" power it takes almost 10 volts to turn your starter
either the battery or the starter motor is bad but, i dont know how an engine will try to start if it wont turn over maybe you could give more details of what it is doing
yes
Make Sure your battery full charged sometimes the battery might be low or bad and it is not give it the spark it need to turn over what you can do is get under the car find the starter and the to nuts hodlind the starter you can hit them with a hammer gentlely and have someone hold the ignition in the start position and that usally will cause it to turn over if not then you need a new starter I have a 94 Chevy Lumina euro and it did the same thing
what makes my ford thunderbird stall and sometimes die and not start back up
This usually happens when the starter drive goes bad or if the flywheel has been damaged by the starter or previous starter failure. When you pull the starter to have a look, turn the flywheel and check all the teeth on it before replacing the starter.
Neutral switch Starter solenoid Starter Loose or dirty battery cable
Same thing happened to my 94. Turn your ignition to the on position and take a screwdriver and bridge the two terminals together on the starter. If it turns over it needs a new ignition switch. Good luck on that. They are a pain to replace.
They make a special tool to turn it or can use crank bolt or bump w/starter.
