Does it do this after it has warmed up?? If so, it could be a host of problems.
However... if this is mostly happening when the car is cold (or even warm sometimes), it is very most likely your "idle air control valve" sticking (like they do on older Toyota models). To fix a sticky IAC valve, you have to take the air inlet hose off of the throttle body where you will find a small square hole about an inch or so deep inside the opening and on the bottom of the intake area. Spray about 3 seconds worth of solvent (spray can style with the little tube to reach in there) that is rated SAFE FOR SENSORS into the hole and let it sit for about ten minutes. Start the car and let it run for about two minutes and then repeat the process once more. The car may stumble and smoke for a minute or two while the solvent passes through the engine, but after that, you should be good to go.
This advice is pending the fact that it is, in fact, an idle air control valve issue. Otherwise.. keep looking.
If it is the front bearing: Take it to a mechanic. The bearing in pressed into the spindle. A press is required to remove the old bearing and install the new one.
you will know your thermostat is broken on your 94 celica because the engine temp will never raise and the engine fan will run continuously. I have a 92 and my thermostat is at the bottom of the engine, hard to get to because it's close to the left quarterpannel. I'd get a chilton's or some other repair manual, it will help you out tremendously. -J

Yes it will
Toyota Celica was created in 1970.
The 1990 Celica door will be a direct bolt on to a 1992 Celica GT. Even the Coupe model doors were the same.
yes it will.
yes
The transmission from a 94 Celica GT will fit in a 91 Celica GT with minor modifications. This includes adjusting the shift linkage and mounting points.
Never heard of bushes in a Toyota Celica.
