95 aurora with a 4.0 v8 it says under the hood it is obd1 but it has an obd2 diag plug under the dash you pluged in a scanr for obd2 but it would not link up does anybody know if its OBD1 or OBD2?

Just had the same problem yesterday. It is an OBDII plug, first generation it wont link up unless u have a scan tool with a GM specific adapter cable.
