I have 95 cavbalier new heater cor new thermostat puts out very little heat any suggestions
im having the same problem with my 1994 I've replaced the heater core, thermostat, radiator,i checked the coolant, and it's not over heating or nothing and still no heat lol
Heater core could be clogged.
Have you flushed the heater core?
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core airbound, plugged or restricted? Water pump not circulating coolant?
no heat can be caused by,blocked heater core insufficient coolant in engine blocked heater hoses from engine to heater core bad heater thermostat bad thermostat in engine bad heater control switch
Perhaps a bad thermostat and/or a heater core
could be a number of reasons etc bad thermostat, clogged heater core, leaking heater core,
if you are losing your antifreeze its probably a head gasket or the heads are warped if not its probably the heater core
Try flushing heater core Try flushing heater core
Yes, A bad thermostat can keep the hot coolant from reaching the heater core... also, low coolant levels or a clogged heater core can make your heat stop working.
Could be a bad thermostat or heater core
yes it can, but dont really recommend it. if your car starts to over heat and the heater core not there you can not use the heater fan to help cool it down, also if you live in an area where it gets cold you wont have no heat.
