If the driver's side seems to be about 1 1/2 inches lower than the passenger side on a 1996 Blazer, this could be a problem with the shocks. The shocks hold hydraulic fluid that sometimes dries up over time. Change both shocks and it should fix the problem.
The 1st generation Nissan Pathfinder, 1987 - 1995 had a torsion bar suspension on the front end of the vehicle. There is a driver's side and passenger's side torsion bar and they are not interchangeable. 1996 - 2009 models do not use a torsion bar.

I have had the same problem on my 1996 Blazer. I talked to a bus driver about it and was given this little trick that might help. If it has something to do with brake adjustment, try backing up and slamming on the brakes 4-5 times- sometimes the brakes adjust themselves from us using them in only one direction so much.
It would depend on what is wrong with it.
