It's either the fuel pump or the Engine Computer. My friend replaced his fuel pump and fixed the problem. I had the pleasure of working on my new girlfriends 97 Silverado and her fuse was blowing because her Air Filter was 151000 mile old. Evidently the lack of air was causing the engine computer to overheat. I am thinking of sending the Air Filter to GM......
