anti theft system is causing problems, the hood pin seems to be the culprit.
It will malfunction and set off the anti theft system not allowing the vehicle to start, then when you open and close the hood it sets properly and allows you to reset.
Might be best to remove alarm fuse for now, that way you wont be stranded, otherwise the system will need to be repaiired
A car that has a alarm will usually have a red light on the instrument panel that when you lock the car with the key fob will come on and stay on for a few seconds. After the alarm is set the light will begin to flash. To test the alarm roll down the drivers window and close all the doors and trunk and on some cars even the hood has to be closed. Lock the doors with your key fob and when the red light starts to blink unlock the door manually by reaching inside to unlock it and open the door from the outside. The alarm should sound. To turn off the alarm use the key fob to unlock the doors.
There are two possibilities: There is an integrated alarm that you operate just buy having the correct key or Someone has fitted a fake alarm led. (light)
Yes! The three blinks indicate the system is armed and all doors are locked. If the lights do not flash, then a door is open. The single light flash upon unlocking tells you the system is disarmed.
i dont have an answer, but my 4wd works, the lights just blink randomly sometimes
There wasn't any reason behind it, sometimes people blink twice.
your alarm system seems to me to be malfunctioning.
Yes if it is working correctly.
I, too, have a 1995 LeBaron and I bought it used...it did not come with a user's manual. The alarm has gone off a few times for no reason. I found that the only way to turn it off is by unlocking the driver's door with the key, even if the door is already unlocked. I also noticed that it goes off for no reason when I lock the doors with the lock switch on the inside and shut the door and the alarm set icon illuminates and stays on for a little bit. Sometimes I lock the doors from the inside and shut the driver's door and the alarm icon will blink...then the alarm is fine and will not go off for no reason. When the icon does not blink, instead it stays illuminated and then, after a few moments, darkens, then be ready to race out to the car when the alarm goes off. I wish I could disable it or figure out exactly how it works.
Evolution. It has always been beneficial to blink because it moistens your eyes and keeps them in better condition, so if you try to force yourself to not blink sometimes your body will force you to blink
yes sometimes. hope this helps!
Cats and dogs blink with both eyes, though sometimes if they wanted to for any reason they can blink with one eye only and leave the other eye open, which is called a wink.
They don't - they appear to for the same reason that a light-house does : its a rotating beacon, sometimes it points at you & sometimes it doesn't.
