Need to check the coil wire, and all other ignition parts.
have misfire on #5 on a ford f150 4.6. changed spark plug and coil pack and injector.
You need to check compression on #6.
Fuel injector?, wire? manifold leak?
Low compression in a cylinder, a burnt valve, loose plug or plug wire, bad injector, bad electronics.
You may have a bad fuel injector. Try to single out which cylinder is dead, then remove that spark plug, if the plug is clean and dry you have a faulty fuel injector.
Check your TPS and O2 sensors. Could be a bad thermostat. My 94 did that ,changed it and solved problem.
Run a compression test before you spend too much time checking out other potential problems. If the compression tests good, try swapping the fuel injector with a good cylinder and see if the dead cylinder moves.
im having the same problem its a goofy cylinder.......im guessing you changed plugs wires and cap.......make sure wires are routed correctly......other than that im thinking its the injector
Theres three coil packs; one fires two cylinders. I suppose if one is bad then it could cause the two corresponding to misfire. I had one cylinder misfire, it turned out to be the fuel injector.
could very well be the injector. could also be the distributer or the plug lead
