i have a 98 accord also and had this particular problem, if the problem occurs when you take turns, it is most likely oil pressure. you should top up your oil and make sure your oil pump is providing adequate pressure. the problem will not show any signs unless the oil pressure drops signifigantly than you may be replacing your engine. josh
im no mechanic but that happened to me ,,i tuned it with after market wires/plugs and it didt help ,,,put ford factory wires and plugs no more problem
Usually that flashing light means that something in the AWD system isn't functioning right or at all. Your AWD won't work until the problem is fixed, take it to a mechanic and they can diagnose the problem.
blinking overdrive light indicates a transmission problem. take car to a transmission mechanic
A flashing check engine light (CEL) means it needs to be taken to a mechanic now. Nissans have a history of sensors coming on, but a flashing sensor indicates a problem requiring immediate attention. Not sure why the car won't start, but could be a number of reasons. I had a fuel sensor go bad on my Maxima and it wouldn't start because it flooded the pistons, so I replaced that sensor. But you may have a different problem. Bottom line, have it towed to a mechanic.
The flashing D indicates a problem with the transmission sensor. Typically it is a shift sensor warning. A qualified mechanic with the proper tools can diagnose the exact error message and replace the offending part. What is the cost to fix?
The light is flashing because there is a problem. The problem will need to be diagnosed and repaired to stop the flashing.

Well, I don't know why, but my mechanic said, "never use Chevron gas", so I use 76 or shell and the problem went away and has never come back. Happened with three cars, two oldies and one brand new pick-up.
