The check gauges light usually means that one of the gauges is out of its normal range. It could be due to an overheat, a under/over charging alternator, low oil pressure, etc
It means look at your gauges. Something is wrong! Does your temperature gauge show that it is overheating? Is the oil presure where it should be? Check your fluids.
Both.
Is it low on Gas or Deisel? if it is that will trip the check gauge light. Or if you ever run the fuel low. It needs time to reset it self.
You will need to run an oil pressure test with a pressure gauge.
Is it overheating? If it is check the coolant level, waterpump, fan, etc. If not overheating check the wiring, temp sesnor, pcm, etc.
Excessive internal engine wear? Install a manual gauge the check oil pressure
Does the light say check gauge or check engine?
Have it checked for codes, it will probably have to do with the fuel level sensor in the fuel tank.
try replacing the thermostat
there is none. you need a torque meter gauge to measure turning torque. you tight the nut so there is no play. measure with the gauge. tighten some more. check again. and so on. if u go to tight you cannot loosen. u have to replace the crush sleeve and start over
Means you are over heating.
Check the serpentine belt or Thermostat stuck.
