In this system, the state owns and manages resources and industries to ensure equal distribution of wealth and services among the population. This approach aims to eliminate class distinctions and provide for the needs of all citizens, but it can also lead to inefficiencies and a lack of individual incentives.

A hybrid system of government is one that is lead partially by a presidential system and partially by a parliamentary system. This is also known as a semi-presidential system of government.
The form of government where the principal means of production are owned by the government is known as socialism. In a socialist system, the government typically controls key industries and resources, aiming to promote equality and distribute wealth more evenly among the population. An example of this is Cuba, where the state owns and operates most of the economy, including healthcare and education.
A bakufu, or Shogunate. This was a military-led government run by a Shogun. Towards the end of the Edo (Tokugawa) period, Japan was controlled by what is known as a Bakuhan system. This meant that there was dual power held by the national government (the BAKUfu) and the local domainal governments (the HANs).
