The emissions decal on the fan shroud will have a crude diagram telling you what goes to what. Also, a chassis manual(factory service manual) would have it, and possably a chiltons book. -Martin Deutschman Stop by www.oldspower.com they can help you out.
There is only 1 way the serpentine belt will go on, there is no alternate way.
There is a belt routing schematic on the radiator core support.
I found that when you buy a new belt you can ask the person at the parts counter to print a copy of the routing diagram for you. (advanced autoparts)
Dealer said cable is run through a steel tube. They had to cut tube to replace broken cable.
Usually it's listed on a tag just above the radiator along with emissions hose routing. If not, the library should have a Chiltons or OEM service manuals.
i just need the vacume line routing schematic for a 91 gmc sonoma with a 4 banger
It is the routing of the wires to their different components. To get one that is for your car then you will need to purchase a Haynes Manual.
Follow the web link I added to this question for Autozone. This link has all the diagrams for motors used in this car. http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/0e/d3/13/0900823d800ed313/repairInfoPages.htm
Hey Christy==There should be a schematic on the fan shroud showing the routing of the belt. If not, go to a used car lot and find a car with a like engine and draw you a schematic. The idler simplly lifts and holds preasure on the belt. Goodluck, Joe
You move the tensioner's arm with a breaker bar. The map for the belt is usually glued to the radiator support, or underneath the hood. The schematic for a 1999 Buick LeSabre fan belt routing is in Section 6 page 66 of the owners manual.
There should be a sticker under the hood right around the lever to open it, the sticker shows you the correct way.
If the diagram is not still on your radiator shroud or the underneath side of your hood, your GM dealer has the stickers or fiche to show the routing.
