Colons are used when you're giving a list of objects.

Being that this is a drug forum, I'm guessing you're talking about another type of "colon" (ie: taking drugs anally).

The first thing to remember is that your colon is sensitive... chemicals can burn it (dissolve the drug in water, and administer the water instead).

Also, when taking drugs rectally as opposed to orally, you don't have the system of kidneys/liver to filter out the drug before it makes it to your bloodstream.... which means that the same amount of a drug taken orally versus rectally, the rectal administration will cause much more of the drug to enter your system..... which is probably the plan all along.

Just be careful. It's very easy to overdose (even with just alcohol) when taking drugs rectally. It's safer to take a smaller dose initially, wait an hour or so to see how it's affecting you, then decide whether to take more or not.
