lymph capillary Lymph fluid is filtered in lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are along lymph vessels which that run along blood vessels. Lymph vessels draw in interstitial fluid (fluid between cells) and it them becomes lymph fluid. Lymph nodules are in connective tissue in place of high traffic and does not function as a filter because it's not along a lymph vessel.

Lymph nodes are the site of white blood cell production.
Lymph nodes are a part of the lymphatic system, a component of the body's immune system. There are several groups of lymph nodes, which are small, bean-shaped, soft nodules of tissue. The ones most frequently enlarged or swollen are found in the neck, under the chin, in the armpits, and in the groin. The main function of the lymphatic system is to produce, maintain and distribute lymphocytes.Lymphocytes identify and attack damaged or infected cells in the blood.

They don't produce anything. Lymph nodes take excess fluid out of your body, which are extracted from your lymph nodes and travel through your lymph vessels. Then, the body gets rid of this fluid. (you can just guess that part)
(1) A lymph is transported back to the blood stream, the lymph nodes act as lymph "filters" Macrophages in the nodes remove and destroy microorganisms and other debri that enter the lymph from the loose connective tissues, effectively preventing them from being delivered to the blood and spreading to other parts of the body. (2) They help activate the immune system. Lymph nodes and other lymphoid organs are strategically located sites where lymphocytes encounter antigens and are activated to mount an attack against them.
There are two parts to the lymphatic system, the lymph vessels and the lymph nodes. The vessels carry excess interstitial fluid away to the vena cava just before it enters the heart. These vessels run through the lymph nodes. The nodes produce lymphocytes that piggyback the lymph flow to join the blood circulation.
Lymph nodes are the site of white blood cell production.

You would need to be more specific as to the condition of the lymph nodes. Lymph nodes serve the purpose of filtering your blood.
