well, no. But obviously famous riders are amazing riders, and to be an amazing rider, you have to be put on challenging horses. Sometimes you fall off on these. A good rider can ride any horse extremely well. You casnt get the reflex to stop yourself and the horse from falling off, until you have experienced it.
It means the horse is barely saddle broke. It's meaning can range from its had a saddle on it, but no rider, to its had a rider a few times.
Until it's rider has their teeth-work finished!

If you get lost you can simply ask the horse to move out on it's own and let it wander. Usually a horse will know when the rider is lost and will find its way back to the trailer or trail head. If you become separated from your horse use a cell phone (You should keep one on your body at all times.) and call either the ranger / forest service or a friend for help.
Ancient Greek times
It is because the rider doesn't have a "deep" enough seat, so when the horse moved, they didn't move with the horse. They also probably weren't paying attention to the horse very well, so they didn't notice all the signs the horse gave that he was about to bolt. If you want to get all scientific with it, I believe it has to do with Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. i have been riding for a few years. alot of times the cause is the sudden jerk of the horse and the force that thros you back.
Well it depends. Trail ridding and pleasure ridding requires no skill at all. But if you are a competition rider you know how challenging the sport can be. To be a good rider you must me athletic and have good balance. Ridding takes a lot of leg muscles. To be a good rider you have to have a very high level of patience, because you must realize that a horse is a smart animal that can get confused, frightened, or just plain stubborn at times. But what i think the most important aspect to be a good rider is to have trust in your mount, while the horse you are ridding has to have trust in you. The chances that you would end up having a good ride if both the horse and rider don't trust each other is very slim.

They became famous when they won the Olympic women double sculls two times in a row!!!
