An epiphany
if it keeps flashing on and off
If you mean a light bulb, it means someone got an idea or they finally understand an idea. "The light bulb went off in his head" But it really should be that it went "on" not "off". The "off" comes from the way a light of a flash camera comes on and off.
Just replace the light bulb.
Say it is a power circuit, a light bulb is bright from the battery, flowing through the wires and the light bulb. There is a switch controling the power that goes through, so if you switched the off switch off, the power will no longer be flowing through(the light bulb wouldn't be bright any longer). Unscrew it from the rear of the light. You may have to take it off to do this.
Remove rubber boot. Pull off plug. Twist light bulb 1/4 turn and bulb should come out.
The switch in the "on" position closes the circuit, and the electricity flows through the flashlight bulb. This is a Study Island answer
Do you mean the dome light? If so just pop off the cover with a flat head screw driver and pull out the bulb
In an incandescent light bulb the wire that gives off the light is called the Filament.
the day time running lights use you hih beams with a dimmer built in chances are the side that goes off need a bulb
A switch simply opens a circuit, stopping the flow of electricity. For example: a simple circuit would be two wires from a battery, one of which goes to a switch, and the other goes to a light bulb. A third wire goes from the other side of the switch to the other conductor of the light bulb. With the switch closed the circuit is complete and the light goes on. Open the switch and the circuit is broken and the light goes off.
