Competition between the Australian supermarkets?

I'm not too sure that i can be that helpful, but i can tell you (from an Aussie's perspective!) that i know of a few Australian supermarkets Coles Woolworths Bilo Foster's Foodland IGA You may want to be contacting these supermarkets directly (eg www.woolworths.com.au) to find out some more marketing information. From a personal point of view, we prefer to shop at supermakerts such as Woolworths because of the wide variety. They have more stock and more decisions, while the smaller stores (like IGA and Fosters) do not. Yet, Fosters stock more Australian brands (shop locally) and they have much Fresher produce, which is what we like to see. Woolworths is not open on a Sunday, while the other grocery stores are - so this makes a big difference in the amount of customers that shop there.
