Buy a new garden tractor. A Kohler engine is the only engine you can go back with without changing wiring, etc.
Front middle of engine. Easier to do by removing the cover held by four bolts on top of engine. There is a opening in front but to small to work with.
Absolutely.
Not suitable at all. Your engine would self-destruct.
i found a diesel tankthat is 25 gal and gas engine replacements of 31 and 40 gallons
Stock applications made roughly 170-180HP. They were the replacements for the popular Windsor and Cleveland versions of the 351 engine.
yes
Suitable by design no, but the engine has plenty of power and the seat will fit two people comfortably. Ride Safe!
15-40 shell rotella t
Headers are aftermarket replacements for the exhaust maniflods. They are the parts bolted directly to the heads on the sides of the engine. They channel the exhaust from each cylinder down to the exhaust pipes. :)
the 2.2 engine has been the same in cavaliers since the 80's. so yes the engine should be a perfect fit. there may be a few minor cosmetic differences like the intake hose or something like that. but the engine itself is the same. The engine mounts are slightly different as well but fabricating replacements shouldn't be that difficult.
I'd say not. I've never really done engine replacements, but from my experiences with removing gearboxes, to unbolt, secure, and then remove an engine from a gearbox, leaving the box where it is would be difficult. It would be easier, and quicker to drop it down in one piece.
