autonomic system
The nervous center has many functions. It's main function is to control your reflex actions and it gives you your sense of touch.
the somatic nervous system
The central nervous system is the control center of the body. It includes the brain and spinal cord. There are three main regions of the brain that receive and process information: the cerebrum, the cerebellum, and the brain stem. The spinal cord is the link between your brain and the peripheral nervous system. The second division of the nervous system is the peripheral nervous system. The peripheral nervous system consists of a network of nerves that branch out from the central nervous system and connect it to the rest of the body. The peripheral nervous system is involved in both involuntary and voluntary actions.
Central Nervous System
The somatic nervous system controls the voluntary movement of skeletal muscles, such as when you move your arm. The autonomic nervous systems controls the involuntary actions of internal organs and glands. The beating of your heart is controlled by this system. The autonomic nervous system is further broken up into two parts: the sympathetic, which controls arousal (think fight-or-flight), and the parasympathetic, which controls calming (think rest and digest).
Automatic System
somatic senses
Your brain and actions (i believe actions).
The Peripheral Nervous System works with the Central Nervous System. They control actions such as thinking, remembering, learning, and feeling.
Voluntary actions
The Peripheral Nervous System works with the Central Nervous System. They control actions such as thinking, remembering, learning, and feeling.
Subdivision of the peripheral nervous system that regulates involuntary functions.
Peripheral nervous system, voluntary control of body movements using skeletal
Actions that one can control are governed by the peripheral nervous system and are called voluntary actions. As I am typing this, I am very much in control over the way my fingers move. This is called a voluntary action and as I mentioned before, is under the control of the peripheral nervous system. Actions that an individual cannot control such as the beating of the heart, peristaltic action and reflexes are under the control of the central nervous system and are called involuntary actions.
The nervous system
Temporarily slows actions of the nervous system.
Respiratory system is controlled by Nervous system. That isthe major relation between them. Respiration is involuntary IE we cannot control it by our will. The Autonomous nervous system controls it. Medulla oblongata which is a part of the brain and nervous system controls such actions
