In a tube, the light will bounce off on a 45 degree mirror twice until it will reach your sight.
This is kind of hard to describe without the use of a diagram, but I'll do my best: A periscope lets light (or the image) in through the lense which, much like the lense in a human eye actually inverts the image. It is then reflected onto a mirror which angles it down the shaft of the periscope. At the bottom, there is another mirror which reflects the image into the eye piece and corrects the orientation of the image.
The instrument which is used to detect a charged body is known as an eletroscope. Now you can visit google images or any other site and find out the diagram... :)
The answer is that one mirror inside the periscope is meant to reflect the light onto the other mirror so that it goes back into your eyes. It was popularly used in World War I to see over the trenches without being a heavy target to artillery. It is also still used in submarines to see above water level whilst staying submerged. For a diagram that will (should) help, copy and paste the link below:http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2000-05/959444445.Eg.1.jpg
There is no "proper name" for an electrical diagram. They are commonly called circuit diagrams.
A diagram. Which shows components.
a diagram of a periscope
Google it for the diagram and u will understand why.
A ray diagram would answer questions on lenses in a telescope or similar instrument
The Electrical diagram for the 1979 Pontiac firebird instrument panel is found in the maintenance manual. The fuse box diagram is found in the owners manual.

Sunrise Occurs North Of East.
I would love that answer as well. Some of my instrument panel lights are out, and the diagram in the owner's manual is horrible.
