I just bought this carry-on at a second hand store and discovered that one of the handles had come unhooked but I was able to fix it like new. If you notice, there is a zipper inside to unzip the lining. The zipper doesn't have a zipper pull on it - probably because it really isn't meant to be unzipped except for repairs. Unzip the lining and feel around (probably at the bottom) for a loose, small bolt and washer. If you can't find it you may be able to come up with a substitute that will work. You'll need a flashlight to look at the inside top and re-align the handle where it belongs (there is a slot in the handle that needs to fit over the round thing that the bolt screws into). Then just screw in the bolt with the washer on it. While you have the lining open, you should also tighten the bolt on the other side of the handle. Good as new!
