"LABYRINTH"...I could be wrong here, but the question sounds less like the Horror movie and more like the movie "Labyrinth". If this was the original question, the girl does wish her brother away. The wish comes true when goblins come and take her baby brother, and she must rescue the boy from the goblin king. The goblin king is played by (a very creepy looking) David Bowie. The girl was played by a teenaged Jennifer Connelly. She has to make it through the labyrinth within 13 hours or the goblin king will turn her brother into a goblin and keep him forever.
