I don't give this union much of a chance. If your friend was on the rebound, he should have waited at least six months before dating again let alone getting married. The wealthy part worries me too. The woman may have married him for his money. She might not be in love with him.
Most of these types of whirlwind romances do not last. But perhaps your friend will be the exception. It is possible that she is madly in love with him. In any event, you should be supportive (although objective) rather than criticize his choices, regardless of how poor they may seem. It is, after all, his life to live.
