The abs brakes on the back of a 94 S10 are designed to help slow the truck down quickly. Without abs, the brakes can lock up and the truck could slide uncontrollably.
You replace the brakes on an ABS S10 the same way you replace brakes on a non ABS S10.
If your brakes are locking up it is because the ABS is not working.
Yes it does, I have one!
The power brake vacuum booster is leaking, replace it.
In the back end of the transmission.
get your rotors turned. If it's the ABS turning on or off you might need a new sensor for the wheel. The S-10 ABS had a design flaw and the ABS sensors on the wheel sometimes break.
The 2002 Chevrolet S10 was fuel injected.
Could it be C1227? If so it is left rear wheel excessive wheel speed variation.
it might not have enough brake fluid or your ABS is going bad. i would take it to a shop cause that can be serious.
your brakes will still work fine but your abs will not work your abs stands for anti lock bake system meaning when you drive on snow or something slippery you will still have control of your car when you slam on your brakes. but anyways in my s10 blazer it is a 96 but should be the same there is a red wire that plugs to the positive pole on the battery if it is not pluged in the abs light comes on and your abs will not work but your bakes work fine just try to find that wire there should be 3 wires going to your positive post the fat on goes to the starter and a little one goes to your altanter and the other is for your abs hope i helped it is a code triggered in abs wheel sensors or the dump valves not working right also check the voltage at the abs fuse.the light stays on with codes triggered till you fiix or clear the codes.
It should be, yes.
did a 1984 Chevrolet s10 come with door speakers
