Your Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) has a problem and is disabled. Until the problem is fixed the light will remain on. You still have your regular brakes and will stop you but they can lock up causing you to skid if your not careful. Have your garage plug in their scanning device to read the trouble codes so they can determine the problem and make repairs. Once repaired the light will go off on its own.
sounds like an alternator problem
Disconnect the battery for several minutes. But if you don't fix the PROBLEM that caused it to go on in the first place, it will just come back on.
usually on the driver side - if you open the door, it is just by the dash board (side of it)
It should just automatically ask you to download it when you conect to xbox live.
Look on the end of the dash board, just inside the driver side door.
The connections on the back of the clock need to be re-soldered. You have to take the clock out of the dash, and take it apart to find the solder points and just re-solder each connection point on the circut board. That is a common problem with the Maxima dash clock. . For a modest fee you can have the clock repaired at subaru-clock.com (the problem was also common to certain Subaru Models) or from a variety of vendors on ebay.
Is it just the cluster or the whole dash lights are out? If whole dash check the fuse or as I have had similar problem light this was the headlight switch and replaced it.
Under the drivers side section of the dash board, just left of the center console.
Supplies current for guages etc. It is just a replacement for wiring in confined spaces.
it is under the dash board on the drivers side just above the gas peddle
It should be under the driver's side dash board, just behind where the plastic covers end
The most common problem on "Engine light" on the dash board means it's time to change your O2 sensor. the "check engine" light is an indication that there is a problem with the computer controlled and or monitored emissions systems. oxygen sensors are just one thing that could be wrong when the light goes on. a tester is connected which tells the technician where the problem is.
