Of course. Gods, demigods, cyclops...Poseidon has a lot of children.
He fathered demigods but his only godly son is Triton, who was mothered by Aphitrite (am-fi-try-tee), Poseidon's wife and a see nymph.
depended on if they were demigods or not :) so either demigods or usually (though definitely not always) nymphs
A demigod in Greek "mythology" is a person with ONE god parent and ONE mortal parent. Demigods are not only in Greek mythology, in all but one case demigods are half mortal and half god. The only...
In Greek mythology, yes.
In Greek mythology, children of the Olympian gods were called demigods. This translates to ημίθεος(im - e - they - osh) in Greek.
I don't think he has any major children... Maybe just demigods? According to one tradition Ares is the father of Eros and Anteros. + a lot of less famous demigods.
Poseidon like most of the other Greek Gods had many Demigod / Half-Blood children with mortal women. Poseidon and his wife Amphitrite had three children. Benthesicymen, Rhodes (the island of Rhodes was named after him) and Triton (he became Poseidon's herald).i
Yes. a few are Theseus,Polyphemus(cyclops),Neleus,Orion, etc. Other than Polyphemus the rest of them are demigods. These are just a few of his childern, not all.
Which kids? Demigods? Gods that are children of gods? Are you aware that Zeus, Hera, Hestia, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter are all children of the gods Rhea and Cronus, who are in turn the Titan children of Gaia and Oranuos (Sky)?
Yes
Yes they do. They can control water, ice, storms and sea creatures. Children of Poseidon are very powerful by that they can breath underwater and surface the deepest of the oceans pressure. If they go into the underworld they will be able to use their powers to keep them from burning up and possibly summon water out of the air. Children of Zeus and children of poseidon are equal in strength but the children of Poseidon have an advantage because the air is filled with water and they can use that water to defeat a child of Zeus. Poseidons demigods can create storms as strong or maybe even powerful than their father and Zeus. Only a son of Poseidon can control the most deadly of sea creatures and use them as companions on their quests and also they can be able to sit on their fathers throne and be able to control every ocean in the world and be able to communicate with their father if he is in atlantis but they will become pale and weak to the point of death because they can not handle that much power. Percy Jackson had did this before but almost died because of the immense power of his father. It may be possible for Demigods of Poseidon to defeat the demigods of Zeus or maybe Zeus himself because of their divine nature. These of the powers of poseidons children
