Revelation 1:18 refers to Jesus.. 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. (1:13-16) Jesus has white hair, eyes of fire, feet of brass, and has a sword sticking out of his mouth. 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. "He had in his right hand seven stars." Jesus holds seven stars in his hand. Of course, it is possible that this is metaphorical. Perhaps. But it is clear from other verses (6:13, 8:10, 12:4) that John thought of stars as being small, perhaps even small enough for Jesus to hold in his hand. 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

How deep is hell were Satan is?
The Bible says that Satan will be cast into a Bottomless Pit for a thousand years. Revelation 20:1-3. At the time of the final Judgment, he will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone for ever. Revelation 20:10. Nothing, beyond the description of the temporary place of Satan's confinement as bottomless, speaks of the depth of Hell, but the description more tells of its eternal nature and its torment.

Satanic nation in Revelation?
The answer here assumes we are talking about a part of the writing of Revelation, the biblical book. It seems that Revelation does not predict a "Satanic nation" in the sense that there will be some country that makes Satan their religious figure and mandates worshiping him.Instead, Revelation puts forth the idea that, during a short period of time very close to the return of Christ to the world, Satan will make a desperate bid to seize control of what is happening on earth and that he will exert his influence in a very visible way more than ever before.Discussing the details of all these interpretations would require a huge answer, so I'm going to skim as best I can while still being thorough.In Revelation 12 there is a short scene that John sees which has different important people represented as symbols. One of the symbols is a red dragon that represents Satan (we know this because it explicitly says in the text that the dragon is Satan, also called "the devil.") In the narrative, God banishes Satan from His presence, basically confining Satan to the earth where we live, and the scripture says that there will be great trouble on the earth because Satan is furious, and he knows that his time is short (Rev. 12:10-12).Skipping ahead in the story a little, we see a man, a king, represented as a "beast" who is basically a powerful ruler that wants to conquer a large empire, just as many people throughout history have tried to do. We see in Revelation 13:1-18 a picture of this world ruler being given authority from Satan. Basically, Satan, who does indeed have power, backs up this king with his authority, making an alliance with him. We then see that the king strikes up a deal with a "false prophet," who leads all the countries that are under the king's power into worshiping the very powerful king.So, even though Revelation doesn't give us a picture of a nation that worships Satan explicitly, because of the great deception and the influence of this king, the prophet and Satan himself, they basically end up falling into a system of false religion where they worship this king who has allied himself with Satan. It's impossible to say if the relationship between Satan and this king will be clear to the world, or if they'll be blind to the fact, but in a roundabout kind of way, we do get a picture of many nations falling into Satanic practice. It's just not the kind of obvious "Satanism" that we might picture.Last note: why do I say that Satan has "power" and why do we think that Satan has the authority to "back up" a human ruler? Three times in John (12:31, 14:30 and 16:11), Jesus refers to Satan as the "prince of this world." This tells us first that Satan has a kind of "royal" title. Even though he is not literally a "prince," it tells us that Jesus accepts Satan is in some kind of a position of power and that the earthly realm is the place Satan exercises that authority.Also, we see that the whole of Matthew 4 shows us a picture of Satan "offering" many things to Jesus in exchange for Jesus doing something against His Father, God. Satan offers Jesus the kingdoms of the world in exchange for Jesus worshiping him. During the conversation, we notice that Luke's gospel records Satan as saying "I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.If you worship me, it will all be yours" (Luke4:6). Jesus doesn't reply with something like "Be quiet Satan, you're a liar," but Jesus replies that it is wrong to worship anyone but God. Jesus seems to accept the fact that Satan does have some temporary authority over this world and that he, apparently, really could have given Jesus all the kingdoms of the world to control if he felt like it. In this way, we begin to see how it could be possible that Satan would offer a king all that power and control that Jesus turned down.
