Scout is the narrator in To Kill A Mockingbird and it better shows the views of children and somewhat of an outside view.
Her name "Scout" is a term for someone who goes and retrieves information and brings it to people which is what she does in the story for the reader.
In the story, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, it is wrong to kill a mockingbird because they are innocent creatures that do no harm and only bring joy through their songs. Symbolically, the mockingbird represents innocence and purity, and to harm them is seen as a great moral wrong.
In the book, Atticus states that you should never kill a mockingbird because it is innocence.
In the book, Atticus, the kids, Black people (Tom R.), etc.
symobolize mockingbirds, they are INNOCENT.
Atticus=Mockingbird because he took the Tom R. case because he belived it was the right thing to do, and people were critizizing him, even though he did nothing wrong
KIDS= Mockingbirds because they did nothing wrong and were harmed because their dad took the Tom R. case
Tom. Robinson= mockingbird because he did nothing to harm Mayella Ewell but was accused anyways because people think tht they can put him in jail just because he was African American
if your talking about the play then playwrights often do that to condense it some so your not sitting there watching/performing all night and trust me it gets extremely hot under stage lights so nobody wants to perform all night. the narrator's lines are used to break the 4th wall or talk to the audience it helps the play get more personal with the audience members.
also remember it is black and white, meaning hushed tones not much color.
I'm a drama student so this is second nature
Feel free to improve upon my answer.
To Kill a Mockingbird means that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird, because they have done no wrong.
Scout
Innocence and curiosity.
It is the summer of 1933 when the story begins.
No, "To Kill a Mockingbird" is set in the fictional town of Maycomb, which is located in Alabama, not in the Midwest.
In "To Kill a Mockingbird," the mockingbird symbolizes innocence and goodness. Though there isn't a specific character named the mockingbird, it represents individuals like Tom Robinson and Boo Radley, who are unfairly judged and persecuted in the story.
I would say Tom Robinson and Boo Radley.
According to Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird, the only two reasons that grown men stand out in the yard are church fundraisers and funerals.
he was the mockingbird. Boo never did anything wrong except kill a man in order to protect his "children" Jem and Scout. If they would have told on Boo, it would have ruined him. Boo was the MOCKINGBIRD ! Remember the mocking bird never did anything wrong.
a town in which this story took place
Very metaphorical. A mockingbird is an animal that does nothing wrong, isn't harmful, is innocent. In that sense, Tom Robinson is a mockingbird and so is Boo Radley. They haven't done anything wrong. They're innocent. So it's a great sin to kill a mockingbirdor basically, to kill an innocent being.
The unexpected company in "To Kill a Mockingbird" is Boo Radley. He is a recluse who is rarely seen in the neighborhood, but plays a significant role in the story's resolution.
