96 Oldsmobile achieva and wont start and the security light is on a gm dealer took the security system out and the security light is still on and car wont start now should the starter have 2 wires plugged into it or 4 plugged into it for the car to start plz help me i need my car

Have you tried unlocking the doors with the remote? I don't know if it will work on GM cars, but it works on at least some Fords.

Ether is alot more flammable! Dont use too much, it is hard on your engine and can be dangerous! The reason your truck wont start is most likely because of a dirty jet in your carb, or your fuel pump is bad.

Check electrical spark, if you have good fire, you can put a few drips of gas or spray some ether in to determine if it is a fuel issue, if it runs on ether, then try rotor and cap.

The new ignition module may have failed. If it is a used module its probably happened. If its a new module it still sounds like failure.
