After changing a thermostat on a rover 214 si the temperature gage still doesnt work Ive checked the fuses and they are fine?

either your thermostat is bad or the flame sensor on unit is no good. it also can be a limit switch. if it lights and stays on for awhile but doesnt reach temperature then its thermostat. if it lights for 10 seconds it is sensor or limit switch.

no indeed it doesnt have anything to do with it. you see the ac heater has diffrent conections in where the theremostat has nothing to do with if u were talking with temperature changes maybe it would.
